On Coaching: I Don’t Have Time!

Time is a created thing. To say ‘I don’t have time,’ is like saying, ‘I don’t want to.” ― Lao Tzu

Isn’t that the truth?!? How many times do you hear or say “I don’t have time” or “I’m too busy”

We ALL have the same 24 hours in a day, and we choose how to spend that time, and with whom.

How do you spend your time? Are you filling it with things that bring you joy, positivity, transformation? With people who bring you joy and add meaning to your life?

Or, are you giving your time to things that are unfulfilling and unproductive?

When you’re living a big life and up to big things, it’s gonna feel at times like you’re being pulled in all different directions, and how we view that feeling of “overwhelmed” is key.

For example I used to say “OMG, I’m so overwhelmed, I can’t possibly take on one more thing!” 🤯 … and now instead of viewing what I’m up to as “overwhelming” I just remind myself that I’m up to big things and it’s bound to happen from time to time, I organize the crap out of my schedule 📅 and am trying to get better at asking for assistance — and then I make it happen, because it’s important to me and I take on the extra project, appointment, coaching call with a client etc …. in this case a working on my friend’s political campaign for this October’s Federal Election (here in Canada)!

What’s important to you?

Are you making time for the things that matter?

How do you guys organize your time?

Namaste
